Responsibilities

The Internal Audit Intern will complete multiple projects with various length and focus to provide an opportunity

to explore a career in internal audit. Besides an opportunity to own their work product, the Intern will participate in

meetings and review documents to gain an understanding of the full audit. This paid position allows the Intern to

learn how to review a process, assess risks, identify controls strengths and weaknesses, and make

recommendations to mitigate risks, improve internal controls, and improve operating efficiencies and effectiveness.

Internal Auditors will provide direction to the Intern for the assigned projects.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education:

Student Intern should be at a junior or senior level in an accredited 4-year college. Student completed or be

currently enrolled in intermediate and advanced accounting courses. Additional preferred courses include: 1)

Auditing and Assurance, 2) Internal Auditing, and 3) Accounting Systems Audit and Control.

Required Minimum Skills:

Analytical, verbal & written communication

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent problem solving and decision making skills

Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and meet deadlines

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Fluent in English (reading, speaking and writing)
