In this position, you’ll be providing incredible service to each department by quickly and efficiently responding to calls regarding spills, breaks, or other accidents, as well as maintaining the general upkeep of store grounds. How do I make a difference?
Providing Incredible, Knowledge Based Customer Service
Keep the store in pristine condition, as well as assist customers in location with items throughout the sore and answer any questions they might have
Promptly respond to all maintenance calls by attending to spills, breaks or other accidents as well as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, etc.
Ensuring High Quality Products & Ingredients
Complete all assigned task which include cleaning and restocking restrooms, vacuuming carpets, sweeping floors, emptying garbage cans, cleaning windows in the vestibule, cleaning office, maintenance of conference rooms and other jobs to be determined by store needs
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, sidewalk and/or parking lot throughout the store in general; identifying any potential dangers or hazards and reporting them to the Maintenance Coordinator, Front End Manager, Service and/or Merchandising Manager
Keep an organized, well-stocked and simplified supply room and maintenance station and ensure supplies are available to quickly answer a maintenance call
Properly handle products, use of equipment, keep accurate logs and follow sanitation practices in accordance with food and human safety guidelines, and Simplification 5S procedures

Preferred Skills and Experience
Customer service experience, preferably in a grocery or retail setting
Possess delegation skills and clearly communicate expectations in a positive way, assess employees' abilities when assigning tasks and follow-up to ensure their completion
Work involves continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced environment
Typical motions include repetitive hand and arm movements, lifting, bending, reaching, and working with cleaning chemicals and materials
Responsible for moving and lifting an average of 1 – 10 pounds of product with the maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds rarely
Basic tools & Equipment must be able to use ladder, baler, compactor, power equipment
Will spend the majority of time on his or her feet and stand without a break for up to 4 hours
May be exposed to various allergens
