Days Hours Req: Part-time employees may work up to 30 hours/week, with shifts ranging between 4 and 8 hours at a time based on department needs. Weekly hours and specific shifts are not guaranteed and we do not offer set schedules. The most successful applicants offer an availability spanning several hours at a time, on multiple days/week. Specific days/hours of work vary by position/department and will generally include weekends. Year-round employment only. Schedule: Part-time

Blue Dalia is a vibrant Mexican restaurant and tequila bar featuring authentic, contemporary Mexican food and craft cocktails prepared with market-fresh ingredients that will be located on the second floor of Wegmans at the Natick Mall.

The job of the Cocktail Server is to provide incredible service by supporting the Front of the House team and serving guests in the bar area. The Cocktail Server is responsible for taking and delivering orders, and completing any other tasks necessary to ensure guests have a one of a kind experience. In addition, servers assist in supporting restaurant operations by demonstrating true hospitality through exceptional people skills, food & beverage knowledge and service techniques.


Providing Incredible, Knowledge Based Service

  • Provide incredible customer service by creating a positive and energetic atmosphere at every table; serving guests in a courteous, attentive and efficient manner when maintaining tables, placing orders and collecting payments
  • Provide guests with a reason to return to the restaurant by building rapport and maintaining their tables to ensure they are receiving the best possible service and experience during their visit
  • Learn and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the culinary and beverage offerings; be able talk about menu items with guests in a manner that creates interest and enthusiasm while promoting offerings by utilizing suggestive selling techniques
  • Continue to study menu changes and attend beverage classes whenever possible to continue to grow food and beverage knowledge
  • Learn about special events and general restaurant operations to provide support and perform additional tasks as needed
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including any assigned side work, and ensure all tasks are completed in a prompt and efficient manner

Work Environment:

  • Work includes walking, standing for prolonged periods of time without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching, frequent lifting and carrying, and occasional heavy lifting, along with continuous interaction with guests and co-workers in a fast-paced environment. Work involves exposure to various work environments, including temperature changes. The average weight range of items lifted is 10-20 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds occasionally. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction).
