In the role of a Wegmans Staff Pharmacist, you will work closely with management and technicians to provide customers with exceptional care and a one-of-a-kind pharmacy experience.

  • Support and stay current on company wellness initiatives; ensure consistency and execution and share best practices
  • Embrace change, assist in implementing preferred practices; create excitement and educate others about new programs and products

Results (What We Measure)

  • Proactively contact internal and external business partners; comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed
  • Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business

Work Environment

  • Work includes standing for up to 4 hours without a break, walking, repetitive forceful pinching and grasping, repetitive hand and arm movements, frequent use of the telephone, frequent use of the computer, along with continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced environment. The average weight range of items lifted is 1-10 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 10 pounds occasionally. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Pharmacist Immunizer - APhA
  • Certified in a Disease State (Diabetes, Heart Disease, etc) - APhA
  • Pharmacist State License - APhA
  • Bachelors

Preferred Skills
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows based software
