Division Overview:

The Construction division specializes in marine related construction projects including piers, jetties, pipelines, bridges, outfalls and offshore platforms as well as demolition. Projects have been completed throughout the Continental US, Hawaii and Central & South America.

Location:

Cranford, NJ and Houston, TX

Travel Required: Rotation between office and field assignments including temporary relocation for projects, as necessary.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday (7am - 4pm)

Revised as necessary to meet project demands

Position Summary:

The Construction Division is committed to developing top talent, encourages professional growth and offers employees the opportunity to direct their career path towards their ultimate interests. As a Staff Engineer you will enter our Construction Division Accelerated Development Program (CDADP) where you will rotate through office and project assignments that will provide you experience in the following areas: engineering, estimating, supervision, field engineering, project controls, safety and equipment. Senior staff will mentor you and you will be provided opportunities to develop your leadership and manage significant responsibility.

Staff Engineers assist in project startup, field engineering, scheduling, contracts administration, safety, estimating, engineering of temporary structures, and auto-cad drawings for construction means and methods. In this position new employees have the opportunity to become proficient with Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and HCSS Heavy Bid software.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will have a Degree in Civil Engineering; Civil Engineering Technology; Mechanical Engineering; Construction Management; Construction Technology; or Coastal Engineering with a GPA of 3.00 or higher. Other skills and abilities include:

* Demonstrated leadership ability and problem solving skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication (English).
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to navigate project sites, which may include walking, climbing, bending.
