Job Description

Weber Shandwick is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide support for the North America HR department with essential day-to-day tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and familiarity with a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment. Due to the nature of the work, the candidate must have meticulous attention to detail and be able to juggle multiple responsibilities and confidential matters.

Responsibilities:

General administrative support for the North America HR Leaders

Heavy calendar management

Time and expense reporting

Meeting support and logistics

Assistance with team event planning

Scheduling and coordinating travel arrangements

Administrative support for eastern region HR team

Other special projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

2 years of professional experience in a fast paced, professional environment

Proficient in MS Office, Word and Excel

Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience

Additional Qualifications:

Extreme attention to detail, ability to multi-task and juggle priorities

Articulate, professional phone presence with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Thrive in a fast paced environment and be solution-oriented

Meeting coordination/event planning

Experience working on multiple projects

Previous assistant experience in PR, advertising or professional service organization is preferred

Interest in Human Resources is a plus

Smart, self-starter, resourceful and ready to jump in

Knowledge of SAP is a plus

Strong PowerPoint skills and experience editing presentations preferred
