About Watermark Retirement Communities

Watermark is committed to creating a culture where everyone is encouraged to express themselves; to express their true selves. We believe that when people express their passion, creativity, audacity, integrity or inner child people connect with each other and communities are formed. These communities are full of spirit, character, compassion and adventure; and we call them Watermark Communities. We see Watermark communities as places in which people can fully experience and celebrate life. We realize that a number of companies out there have a vision statement. Usually, these statements are on posters in the lobby or behind the reception desk or in the associate break room. Our vision is a little different. Our vision is to surround ourselves with extraordinary people who are that vision; who make the culture. We want our vision to be present EVERYWHERE,not just on posters behind the reception desk. Watermark Communities has Operating Principals instead of Operating Principles. Our associates are the Operating Principals. How they choose to express themselves is the very fabric of our culture. Our Principals embody the very ideals in which Watermark was founded. At every Watermark community, Operating Principals demonstrate their integrity, passion, honesty, commitment and spirit.
