Job Summary:

Be a part of an innovative team and culture…

The Enterprise Service Management organization is responsible for serving as the aggregation point for IT and Non-IT Services, as delivered within an Enterprise Service Management Model. This team will drive and manage the Catalog of Services, the Portfolio of Services, and Process Management for Service Management. This team will define and socialize processes, and process improvement, service rationalization, and a consistent approach to the customer experience.

Responsibilities:

A Day in the Life…

* Collaborates with peers to actively participate in strategic and operational planning in supporting the Disney Enterprise Service Management objectives.
* Assist with delivering security initiatives in support of Enterprise Service Management that puts all business-facing services in one accessible location.
* Partner with creating a catalog of business facing services, supported by automated service execution processes
* Collaborates with technical and business teams to fully understand business requirements and creates clear, functional specifications outlining the client's requirements
* Delivering updates with a high degree of comfort to business partners, managers and stake holders.

Basic Qualifications:

What we are looking for…

* Basic understanding of Service Management
* An aspiration to work in a fast-paced and challenging work
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
* Desire to take ownership of project(s) and drive to completion

Preferred Qualifications:

* Willingness to "think-outside-of-the-box" to resolve project / process ailments
* Skilled in gathering business requirements, map them to systems capabilities, and recommend business/technical solutions.
* Ability to communicate information both written and verbal, including technical details, into engaging messages accessible to a wide audience
* Process management and problem resolution skills
* Basic knowledge of Information security principles

Required Education

* Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program

Preferred Education

* Junior, Senior, or recent graduate (within 6 months of graduating) pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of Business or Information Technology

Additional Information:

* The approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2020 through August/September 2020
* Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
* Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Celebration/Kissimmee area
* Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
* Must possess unrestricted work authorization
* Must be at least 18 years of age
