POSITION SUMMARY:

The Walmart Sales Assistance is responsible for completing projects that support the Walmart Quote process and handling the coordination from beginning to end of special events. The Walmart Sales Assistant will also provide support to the Sr. Analyst and Sr. Director of Sales with Walmart.com.

RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

* Prepare and submit product quotes in Retail Link Quote Management System by required deadlines, maintaining all necessary updates after initial submission.
* Oversee the product sample process for the Layout Center, including but not limited to ordering, receiving, and labeling quotes by the identified deadlines.
* Management and oversight of the Walmart Toyland Event which includes but not limited to coordinating product sample shipments and deliveries, partnering with internal and external customers, coordination with venue and onsite support at event.
* Assist Sr. Director of Sales and Sr. Analyst with Mod set up and maintenance at the Bentonville office.
* Monitor the activity on Walmart.com, providing updates to Sr. Director and Sr. Analyst.
* Assist in general office management of the Bentonville office.
* Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous, collaborative and professional manner.
* Exercise sound business judgment.
* Conform and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
* Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.
* Other duties as needed or required.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* Must have experience using Retail Link, including entering quotes into Retail Link or other Walmart Quote process system.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Work independently and manage time efficiently in order to meet changing deadlines and priorities.
* Strong planning/organizing skills: capable of managing major projects simultaneously.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* 2 or more years of progressively responsible experience in the area of Walmart or Supplier support experience.
* Bachelor's degree; or any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform assigned tasks.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Duties are primarily performed in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee must read, speak, write and understand the English language. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use their hands to handle and grasp, reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds [50 pounds if travel]. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus with or without the use of prescription eyeglasses.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Core hours will be set between employee and manager and will be based on business needs. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

TRAVEL

Travel to local stores, Walmart Layout Center and Walmart offices may be required on an as needed basis.
