Business Analyst

This is an estimated 4 to 6 months plus, position, in Bellevue, WA and is offered through Volt Workforce Solutions. We are among the largest staffing companies in the US for contingent/temporary and direct hire placements, and support many of the top rated Pacific Northwest companies.

The Business Analyst will capture the business process, business requirements into user stories or PBI or requirement including test acceptance criteria. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing. To document any process flows or other business analysis activities for the project that is building the solution in technologies like Microsoft .NET, SQL server and ASP.NET, in an agile methodology.

Responsibilities

* Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
* Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
* Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
* Performing requirements analysis.
* Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members.
* Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders.
* Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
* Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
* Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
* Performing user acceptance testing.
* Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
* Updating, implementing and maintaining communications.
* Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
* Managing competing resources and priorities.
* Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects

Requirements

* A bachelor's degree in business or related field or an MBA.
* A minimum of 5 years experience in business analysis.
* Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
* The ability to understand the project scope, charter, mission of the project.
* The ability to work with stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions.
* The ability to document the findings in industry standard way. Excellent documentation skills.
* Advanced technical skills.
* Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
* Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
