**Job Description**

The VMware vRealize Code Stream (vRCS) is a new VMware product which provides solutions for software release automation and continuous delivery needs of enterprises in the cloud era to enable frequent, reliable software releases, while reducing operational risks. We are looking for a talented UI engineer to drive the evolution of the next generation VMware cloud management solutions. You will work with the vRCS engineering team to translate this vision into a scalable product UI that meets the needs of VMware's large customer base. You will work on our hardest problems, building high quality, architecturally sound systems that are aligned with our business needs.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing front-end components with a drive to design an innovative and simple UI, very strong technical skills, as well as great communication skills with a desire to achieve excellent results in a fast paced environment

Design and develop release automation and continuous delivery features for the next generation of the vRCS product
Interact with product managers to understand customer requirements and translate them into product features
Develop a deep understanding of cloud architectures and ensure that product performs and scales in large deployments at enterprises and service-providers

Well versed in Javascript and/or related frameworks, JEE, CSS, HTML, REST/Web Services and other distributed technologies and architectures
Expert in design patterns for distributed systems
Expertise in building applications for the cloud
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a geographically dispersed team
Prior experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Bachelors in Computer Science; Masters preferred
