Job Description

VMware is looking for a talented engineer to fill a new grad position within our R&D organization.

You will get exposure to a huge range of software platforms, networking, and firewall technologies that are loved by customers all over the world. We are looking for people who thrive in an open, innovative, technology-driven culture.

Responsibilities:

-Excellent understanding of Networking technologies - Switching, Routing & Security
-Excellent coding skills - Java, C++, & Python
-Understanding of Software defined networking principles
-Understanding of distributed systems
-Preferred - Hands on Experience with running an SDN controller
-Preferred - Experience with Open vSwitch & OVSDB

Requirements:

-Computer Science Bachelor's/Master's degree
