Job Description

Technical Lead of Business Intelligence (eCommerce) - New Jersey

Tremendous opportunity for a Technical Lead of Business Intelligence to join a leading global consumer goods company. You will join the solutions delivery team to support the growth of this enterprise company through data analytics.

You will be responsible for building eCommerce solutions working with developers, other technical team members, and business. This role is 70% managing the strategy and process and 30% hands on. You will not be responsible for any direct reports, but rather helping technical concepts translate to fulfil business requirements. The technical environment is SAP BW, Azure DW, SQL Server and Tableau. You will have the opportunity to learn these technologies if you don't have specific expertise in all of them.

Overall, you will work with senior leaders to build solution strategy, budgets, roadmaps and manage vendor partners to help this enterprise company continue to pave the way in consumer goods. This is a contract to hire position located in the Hoboken, NJ area with competitive pay, strong bonus and the ability to telecommute one day per week. Required Background

  • 5+ years leading enterprise eCommerce/sales BI projects
  • 5+ years leading a team of technical resources to build BI solutions
  • Proven experience working with digital data (promotion, content for websites, sales, pricing, etc.)
  • Experience with SDLC for BI
  • Bachelor's Degree


  • Consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience (highly preferred)
  • Experience with SAP ECC OR SAP BW/BEx OR Azure DW
  • Tableau
  • SQL Server
