Starting Salary:

Min: $6,429 – Mid: $8,903 per month

Job Description:

Manages a broad range of activities related to the development and management of complex transit, transportation, development projects that relate to VIA's Keep San Antonio Moving Plan, Capital Improvement Plan, Long Range Plan, and other studies/grants that are part of VIA’s Capital Improvement Plan, Strategic Long-Range Plan, and related documents. The primary function is to initiate, expedite, facilitate, monitor, and assist with assigned capital, mobility or development projects or studies as a link between strategic planning department and the other VIA divisions and departments to advance the project development process for various projects. The work includes monitoring project costs ensuring projects meet budget constraints; updating and ensuring projects stay on schedule and providing both internal and external briefings including to the VIA Board of Directors.

Coordinates closely with all divisions and departments of VIA to achieve project goals and objectives through resource management, facilitating project solutions.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in planning, Policy, public administration, or a related field. Seven (7) years of increasingly responsible experience in project or program development, management, and oversight, experience, or related activities. This experience must include 3 years of experience in management of multi-disciplinary consultant team related to Transportation projects.
