* Assist with gathering requirements, data analysis, design of solutions, coding and implementation of enhancements and modifications to existing programs. Responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation.
* Update, edit and check format and data specifications. Guides support staff in preparing test data. Analyze results to ensure that client's programs function according to specifications. Provide support staff with guidance in the analysis and design of modifications to existing systems and in solving programming problems.
* Learn and apply new design and application techniques to enhance client automation.
* Learn and apply PC and mainframe tools to enhance special projects for clients. Input complex data on mainframe computer system.
* Create documentation/user guides.
* College degree or equivalent experience required.
* One-year property/casualty insurance background desired.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
* Good oral and written communication skills required.
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving and follow-up skills, and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities while working under little supervision
* Be a team player, quick learner, self-motivated with good problem-solving, critical thinking skills and work ethic. Effective interpersonal and listening skills, telephone etiquette, good oral and written communication skills, proofreading skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Motivated to enhance and improve processes.
* Continued desire and ability to learn.
