Our client has formed a new rapid prototype group to develop proof-of-concept prototypes for both internal and customer facing projects. Ideal candidates have experience in early project life cycle development, wire-framing, and rapid development. We are seeking a select group of highly creative, technical, and motivated mud sharks to join us in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
As a member of the rapid prototyping group you will be working within the CTO organization developing and innovating new product prototypes. This is a fast-paced and agile group that is responsible for research and development of new product concepts. You will be working within a small, focused team, on a diverse set of technologies, solving a wide set of problems. This position will report directly to the Chief Architect within the CTO group in the San Francisco office.
- Encyclopedic knowledge and experience with third-party libraries.
- You should be outright allergic to NIH (Not-Invented-Here) Syndrome for prototype work.
- Experience implementing APIs, especially RESTful ones.
- Be able to explain why SOAP is a lie and why JSONP is a thing.
- Familiarity with several HTTP client libraries in different programming languages and how to use them to consume a third party AP.
- Experience with Real Time technologies such as web sockets. We are big fans of things like node.js, tornado, and socket.io.
- You're fast, and produce work in days and not weeks.
- An excellent communicator, and familiar with Git and Github.
- Experience developing a prototype and proof of concept.
- You're quick to get something working in a browser.
- Experience with LESS/SASS is a plus.
