Assist the opportunity assessment team in researching and proposing possible opportunities for future products. Research various market opportunities relative to our product portfolios and technology base. Support proposal team by assisting them to create an opportunity assessment relevant to our future markets and products. Participate in proposing opportunities to the portfolio team for consideration. Produce research results relevant to market analysis and decision making. Advocate for or against areas of opportunity depending on financial or strategic value. Learn Varian processes for analyzing markets and formulating opportunities.

* Proficiency in MS Excel required
* Experience with analyzing business scenarios preferred
* Solid presentation skills required
* Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering preferred; MBA in-progress preferred
