Job Description

The Global Operations Business Analyst will be responsible for the research and resolve sales order configuration, acceptance, and revenue recognition issues using various business tools and databases. Additional duties to include:

* Research installed base/equipment issues. Interface with and leads cross-functional efforts with various groups (i.e. Contract Administration, Accounting, Business Operations) to identify process opportunities, develop and/or correct procedures related to the revenue recognition process.
* Contract Management from beginning to end (Quote to Cash)
* Create and manage warranty and contractual documents in SAP and Salesforce CRM database including schedules, billing plans, and financial data
* Database Management (SAP)
* Perform Internal / External billing activities
* Participation in cross functional meetings to provide updates as required
* Generate and maintain reports
* Function as an effective partner with the Service organization to ensure the customer receives cohesive and comprehensive solutions and support
* Performs other related duties and special projects as required

Job Requirements

* Demonstrates ability to lead projects, communicate effectively, and bridge communication gaps.
* Well organized and able to interpret and draw relevant insights from various resources and methodologies.
* Ability to work independently, while remaining, assertive, proactive, and focused while ensuring all deadlines are met.
* Working knowledge of accounting environment
* Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-Mail, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* May require experience with MS Access
* Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
* Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and/or 2-5 years of related experience or Master's Degree with little or no experience is preferred
* Ability to work long hours during critical business times such as end of quarter and year end
