U.S. Small Business Administration

The U.S. Small Business Administration, founded in 1953, champions the cause of small businesses, helping entrepreneurs start, expand, and sustain strong businesses, the backbone of the U.S. economy. The South Florida District administers SBA programs and services in the 24 counties south of Orlando, Fla. The 8(a) Business Development Program is an essential instrument for helping socially and economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs gain a foothold in government contracting.
