Computer Networking Teacher
Upper Bucks County Technical School is currently accepting applications for full-time Computer Networking Teacher beginning in August 2023.
The school is seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and energetic educator who is student-focused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to education related to operating systems and applications; system design and analysis; networking theory and solutions; types of networks; network management and control; network and flow optimization; security; configuring; and troubleshooting.
Instructor of Computer Networking, at the Upper Bucks County Technical School, Perkasie, PA. Starting August 2023– As per UBCTS PSEA contract. The applicant should possess or have the ability to obtain the proper PDE CTE Teaching Certification. The position requires a minimum of four years of full-time occupational experience in computer systems networking, including experience in Network Media and Topologies, Network Devices, Implementation, Management, Maintenance, Operating Systems, Security, and Administration. It is preferred that candidates hold or are willing to obtain industry certifications as well including but not limited to A+, Network +, and Security +. Individuals without appropriate teaching certification through the PDE must be willing to complete coursework requirements through Temple University to obtain Career and Technical Education teacher certification. This program is approved through PDE as Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications (CIP Code: 11.0901).
