Job Description

The SBDC at The Wisconsin School of Business is part of a statewide network of 12 SBDC offices. The Madison SBDC serves entrepreneurs and existing business owners in Dane, Columbia and Sauk Counties. We provide free business coaching to qualified applicants, free small business hotline available through email and phone and affordable business management training programs for owners and managers. Our goal is to help small businesses succeed to provide jobs and contribute to the economic vitality of their communities and Wisconsin.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, marketing, or related field required. Master's of Business Administration or related field preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

* Minimum 7 or more years of experience in successful development, delivery, management, or promotion of adult or continuing education programs.
* Ability to work with and communicate effectively with instructors, staff, faculty, customers, corporate sponsors and business professionals.
* Direct marketing, internet communications via email and social media and print marketing communications are integral to the position.
* Effective written and oral communication skills.
* Well-qualified applicants will have business operations experience, small business ownership or business management with P&L responsibility
