Neonatology Position in Vermont

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible neonatologist to join the Division of Neonatology at the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Children's Hospital. Clinical responsibilities include providing complete inpatient neonatology services, on-call coverage, and outpatient follow-up services. Academic responsibilities include teaching and supervision of neonatology fellows, pediatric residents and Advanced Practice Providers with opportunities for research and educational scholarship. Candidates with experience in maternal and newborn population focused quality improvement and a proven record of collaborative scholarship in multi-disciplinary partnerships are particularly encouraged to apply. The position is a 1.0 FTE as an Assistant Professor on the non-tenure clinical scholar pathway with an anticipated starting date by October 1, 2020.

The Division of Neonatology provides a full spectrum of neonatology services for a 20 bed combined level 3 regional perinatal center intensive care unit and a 9 bed step down unit, both located within the University of Vermont Medical Center. Care is provided for infants with a wide range of diagnoses, with team-based family-centered continuity of care.
