*This position is located in Arlington, VA*

Information Sciences Institute (ISI), part of the Viterbi School of Engineering at USC, seeks applicants for a Research Programmer position. The successful candidate will work on federally sponsored projects together with a team of experts in machine learning and computer science and develop software architecture to support novel forecasting algorithms based on heterogeneous and high-dimensional data streaming from various sources.

Qualified candidates will have a MS degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or closely related field of engineering. Experience with Hadoop and/or Spark, programming experience in Java and Python are a plus. Demonstrated creativity and innovation in solving conceptual programming problems. Competent to work independently on complex programming.

USC ISI has offices in Marina del Rey, CA, and Arlington, VA. Qualified candidates for this Arlington position must be willing and eligible to apply for TS/SCI clearance. Eligibility for this clearance requires U.S. citizenship. Current TS/SCI clearance is a plus.
