Hiring Salary/Salary Range: $15/hour


The Staff Assistant (Regional Program Coordinator) is an integral part of Arts4All Florida and assists with many of the different programs in an assigned region. This position is responsible for region 3, which consists of Brevard, Glades, Highlands, Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and St. Lucie Counties.

Duties include but are not limited to:

* Responding to and initiating contacts with all school district ESE Directors and Parent Liaisons in every county in your assigned region to discuss programs
* Responding to and initiating contacts with cultural and community organizations in your assigned region in order to:
* Assist the Director of Education with the coordination of performances or exhibitions for special residencies (museum or performance residencies)
* Publicize the Florida Young Performers competition and Student of the Month program
* Assist the Director of Programs in seeking locations and/or partnership opportunities for exhibitions and performances and/or community art classes and camps

* Attending regional meetings and presenting as needed. Examples include interagency meetings, GFWC woman's clubs, and Student of the Month presentations
* Observing Teaching Artists, as assigned
* Participating in local festivals, as assigned

Participating in bi-monthly teleconference calls with the Director of Programs

QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, with at least four years of experience in an office or administrative support position. Additional education may not be substituted for this experience requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

* At least 2 years of experience working in a nonprofit organization or arts organization
* Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word programs

Special Skills:

* Includes frequent travel in the designated region.
* Established connections with cultural organizations and school districts in the assigned counties
