ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY:

USF Innovative Education is an academic support unit that partners with USF's colleges to develop, market and recruit students into the university's most innovative programs. Services include online faculty development, online course design and development, program development, marketing, recruitment, admissions support and related services.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Data Analyst is an expert at managing, organizing and presenting analytics data, establishing key metrics and KPIs and developing and delivering both regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards for leadership to help drive decision-making. Working closely with the marketing and recruitment teams, this position will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on campaign results and making recommendations to improve campaign performance. In addition, this position will help to quickly identify causes and solutions to issues or unexpected results identified in reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and deliver both regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards for leadership to help drive decision-making.

With the collaboration of the marketing and recruitment teams, manage, optimize and perform analysis on current campaigns. Areas of analysis include lead progression, platform performance, geolocation, peak activity trends and email performance.

Research and implement new technologies, statistical analysis methods, and conversion tracking tools to improve data collection and decision-making capabilities

Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a field related to the research or data analysis responsibilities and a minimum of one year of research experience; or a Master's degree in one of the same fields. Progressively responsible work experience may substitute for the college on a year for year basis.

PREFERRED:

The preferred candidate will possess a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Math, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

2+ years experience with analytics software (Google Analytics, WebTrends, or similar).

2+ years experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, or similar).

2+ years experience preparing reports or dashboards for senior management.

2+ years experience with CRM/marketing automation software (Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar).
