Job Description

This position is a Civil Engineering faculty position, where the research expertise should be either Environmental, Transportation, or closely related engineering field. The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching graduate and undergraduate level courses, conducting and supporting independent research, student advising, student mentoring and recruitment, curriculum development, conducting scholarly activities and all other activities required for professional success and tenure and promotion in the academe. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, engaging in accreditation procedures, program assessment and service to the department, College and University, as needed. This is a 9-month position. Doctoral degree in Civil Engineering or closely-related Engineering field by the date of anticipated employment. Must be able to establish and sustain a strong research enterprise, and have pedagogical skills to teach in areas relevant to Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering.
