University of North Alabama

The University of North Alabama invites applications for Adjunct (Part-Time) Teaching Positions expected to be available during the 2019 spring semester. Persons holding adjunct teaching positions normally teach three to six credit hours or nine contact hours per semester.

Adjunct teaching positions will be available in a number of departments but greatest needs are anticipated in the following areas: accounting, business law, chemistry, computer information systems, computer science, earth science, economics, finance, geography, industrial hygiene, interdisciplinary studies, management, marketing, music, nursing (clinical supervisor), nutrition, physics, and professional studies.

Minimum qualifications require adjunct instructors to hold the master's degree plus a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the desired teaching discipline. Payment for adjunct teaching is on a standardized university scale according to credit or contact hours taught.
