The University of New Mexico's Continuing Education Department is seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team. Overall, the Program Supervisor organizes, develops, and facilitates a range of non-credit community education courses and/or workshops; recruits, selects, oversees, and evaluates the activities of non-credit instructors engaged in community education programs, and makes appropriate adjustments. Develops training curricula and/or recommends vendor programs which meet instruction and/or community services, goals and objectives.

Specifically, this position is responsible and accountable for the profitable delivery, recruitment, marketing and daily operations of the personal enrichment programs available to the New Mexico Community and the University. Primary responsibilities include, oversight for current programs through scheduling, instructor and student assistance, student record keeping and promotional marketing activities. Key responsibilities are working with instructors and experts to develop and maintain quality personal enrichment programs. Supervisors assist in the development and implementation of operating policies and procedures. In addition, the Supervisor consults with a variety of stakeholders to identify the need for new and/or additional opportunities that benefit the community.

The Program Supervisor participates in the development of annual operating budgets and provides fiscal direction to and accountability for the program.

UNM Continuing Education seeks an individual with demonstrated skills working with the community and developing long-term relationships. The preferred candidate will be a collaborative, resourceful team player, a self-starter with strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills, the ability to establish priorities, complete projects on time and within budget, and the ability to effectively organize, coordinate and complete a wide range of concurrent activities.

Minimum Job Requirements

* High school diploma or GED; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
* Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

* Work varied shifts that may on occasion take place outside of normal business hours including weekends.
* Proficiency Microsoft Microsoft programs, including Excel and SharePoint.
* Proficiency in Database Management.
* Must be able to adapt to new technologies.
