Job Description

The Community and Regional Planning Program in the School of Architecture & Planning at UNM anticipates hiring Adjunct Faculty to teach in the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018, and Summer 2018 semesters to teach and/or develop undergraduate and graduate level courses. Anticipated openings potentially include specialization in any of the following areas: Environmental planning, water resources, land use and community change, the built environment, Indigenous planning, economic development and community development. Candidates with other areas of specialty may also be considered and are encouraged to demonstrate area of specialty in the cover letter.

Positions are contingent upon need each semester as determined by student enrollment levels, current course offering matrix, and demand driven by graduation requirements. Positions may be filled or eliminated each semester up to the deadline for students to drop or add courses. Candidates who are selected for these positions will report to Prof. Renia Ehrenfeucht, Director.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Community and Regional Planning or related Master's degree.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Previous teaching experience or related professional experience.
