Job Description

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Associate Software Developer.

ROLE of the

This is a full-time, 12-month position in the Software Engineering Services group in the Office of

Information Technology.

This entry-level position will provide application development and support. The incumbent will work
with clients to understand requirements that originate from business rules and functional specifications, produce and document designs for
custom applications, translate the designs into finished application products, develop testing plans and provide technical and
customer-oriented documentation.

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited
college or university, and a minimum of one year of experience in software development using industry standard software development coding
languages and methodologies. The successful candidate must possess good organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to
manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science or Management and Information Systems Additional
experience with any of the following: VB.NET or C#.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, .NET Framework, Java, Oracle, PL/SQL, PeopleCode Experience working in Higher Education SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at
similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
