Job Description

The Department of Political Science at the University of Montana invites applications for Adjunct Professor(s) and/or Adjunct Instructor(s) during any semester(s) from Fall 2014 through Summer 2017 for on-campus and/or on-line courses in one or more of the following areas: American Government, Constitutional Law, Civil Rights, Judicial Politics, Public Administration, International Relations, Comparative Government, and Nonprofit Administration. Primary responsibility will be to teach upper-division, lower-division, and/or graduate courses on campus or online.

Start dates will be Fall 2014 and thereafter. Salaries will vary depending on teaching responsibility.

Required Experience

Master's degree in a related field.

Program Overview

The department offers an undergraduate curriculum covering American, foreign, and international politics. A student may earn a bachelor degree in political science or in political science-history; a minor in political science; or a bachelor degree in political science with an emphasis in one of the four areas. A Masters of Arts degree in political science and a Master of Public Administration degree are also offered.
