The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine has an opportunity for an Ophthalmic Technician within the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, located in Palm Beach Gardens. Responsible for assisting the Ophthalmologist by gathering data pertaining to the patients? visual status and maintaining an environment conductive to the delivery of efficient, quality eye care. Effectively perform appropriate clinical testing by previous formal education and/or clinical experience which allows an understanding of the theory, principles, and practice of eye care.

High school or equivalent with a minimum of one year of experience is required. Graduation from an ophthalmic technician school is desirable. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
