Job Description:

The Department of Radiology is seeking applicants to fill the position of Administrative Support Assistant I. This position will support the general administrative functions in the Department of Radiology to include scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, performing basic fiscal tasks, and providing routine office support. Job Duties include:

Administrative Duties

Responsible for entering all medical student lectures in Qgenda, our Physician Scheduler. This will include comparing scheduled lectures to the list in New Innovations on a weekly basis and making corrections as needed.

Review the MDC conferences (weekly) listed in Qgenda and send out reminders to faculty assigned.

On a biweekly basis, incumbent will be responsible for pulling reports to include CME leave for faculty and extenders from Qgenda and review with Office Manager.

Incumbent will oversee our Department volunteer/shadowing program. This will include coordinating with the applicant, designated faculty member, Office Manager, and the Dean's Office. Incumbent will be required to ensure all appropriate paperwork and training is completed and approved.

Prepare confidential reports as requested by the Office Manager, re: salary, fringe benefits, and faculty/resident count. Helpful to be knowledgeable in the use of Peoplesoft System.

Serve as secretary to all Department of Radiology faculty. This will include typing memorandums, correspondence, general letters or any other document.

At the discretion of the Office Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating departmental events, retirement receptions and conferences. To include announcements and ordering supplies.
