Job Description

Applications for Fall are due MAY 31st.

Applications for Spring are due October 31st.

The CU Succeed Silver program seeks part-time Lecturers to teach CU Denver courses to Denver area high school students. This program enables high school juniors and seniors to take CU Denver courses in their high schools for dual credit during the school day. All applicants into this position are seeking approval as CU Denver Adjunct Faculty members to teach CU Denver courses that are requested by Denver area High Schools.

The posting will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers for the CU Succeed Silver program. Candidates hired from this pool will fill temporary, non-tenure track positions and will teach no more than two courses per semester. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50%) and will be made semester-by-semester, depending on the needs of Denver area High Schools. Therefore, this posting does not necessarily reflect a current open position. This temporary Lecturer recruitment pool is anticipated to remain continuously active until December 31, 2016, at which point all applicants will be cleared from the pool. Applicants are encouraged to apply to future recruitment pools after that date.

* Masters Degree or 18 credit hours at the graduate level in the discipline you are seeking approval in
* Experience teaching College level courses

Applications are accepted electronically ONLY at www.cu.edu/careers, refer to job number 03934.
