Nature ofWork

The Admin Assistant III for the Office of Inclusive Services organizes and coordinatesadministrative duties and office procedures. Admin Assistant IIIresponsibilities include scheduling meetings and appointments; making officesupplies arrangements, and providing general administrative support to ouremployees.

The Admin Assistant III ensures the smooth running of the office andhelp to improve office procedures and day to day operation. This positionreports directly to the director and is a 12 month / 16 hours per week position.

The Office of Inclusive Services at theUniversity of Colorado Colorado Springs supports students with intellectual anddevelopmental disabilities in the academic, residential, social, career, andprofessional experiences of college life.

This position is a part timeposition.

Examplesof Work Performed

* Work with the Inclusion Coordinator todevelopment and maintain the OIS budget
* Purchasing requested materials
* Booking and managing travel
* Preparing conference booth set up
* Data entry
* Oversight and implementation of assistivetechnology
* Completing hiring and termination paperwork formentors
* Fundraising
* Managing scheduling of meetings
* Proof reading manuals and materials developed bythe OIS
* Willingness to obtain added training
* Maintain confidentiality regarding educationalinformation and records
* Help to maintain a positive academic environment
* Work as a member of the Office of InclusiveServices team
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability and interest in working with students with disabilities


* Performother duties and responsibilities as assigned

Salary Range: $17,500.00

For the purposes of FLSAthis position has been determined to be exempt from (not eligible for) overtimeunder FLSA.

* Bachelorsdegree in accounting or related field
* One or more years experiencein accounting and managing budgets
