The College of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Trauma Surgery is looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator. This position will report to UC faculty and will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.


Job Summary/Duties:   Under general supervision from a designated mentor, plan, evaluate, and coordinate research projects for Department of Surgery, Division of Trauma Surgery.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan and coordinate research projects
  • Design and implement evaluation tools for research projects
  • Gather data
  • Coordinate lab and field work
  • Coordinate the generation of support data for manuscripts and proposals
  • May assist in developing reports
  • Assist with modifications of protocols
  • Maintain regulatory documentation
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need


Minimum Qualifications:   Two (2) years of Clinical Research experience. Bachelor's Degree in health related field.


Ideal QualificationsThe ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in health-related field or equivalent experience, and 2-5 years' relevant experience. Background knowledge of conducting clinical and translational studies, biostatistics is helpful. They should be capable of coordinating clinical and laboratory experiments; including budget preparation, collection and analysis of research data.
