Work Study Student Worker
The McMicken College of Arts & Sciences, Department of Sociology is seeking a Work Study Student Worker to provide administrative support to the department main office. Duties will include but not be limited to: General office/clerical work; updating our website(s); taking photos and videos at public events; helping with event planning; managing our alumni database; ordering office supplies; ordering desk copies per requests; cleaning; copying; other duties as assigned. Approximately 10 to 15 hours per week.
Minimum qualifications: The student work must have some previous office experience as well as experience with computers, Microsoft Office software (in particular, Microsoft Word and Excel), using a copier, and scanning. Must be the recipient of a Work Study Award* based on financial need and be admitted into a degree program. Must be enrolled at least part-time (six credit hours for undergraduate students, five credit hours for graduate students), with the exception of summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic semester. Student workers must meet the enrollment requirement for the entire semester. Must be age 16, or older.
*Required - You must upload a copy of your Federal Work Study Award with your application.
