Pediatric Radiation Oncologist Faculty

University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine

Department of Radiation Oncology

The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Department of Radiation Oncology is currently accepting applications for two full-time pediatric radiation oncologists. These positions will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.

 

Successful candidates will join a vibrant, growing academic practice and will be based primarily at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital / University of Cincinnati Proton Therapy Center, scheduled to open in Fall 2016. Each of these two physicians will be active members of the multi-disciplinary teams at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, and will have 50% of time devoted to clinical practice and 50% of time devoted to clinical / translational research.

 

Minimum qualifications: Candidates should have an MD or DO degree, training in Radiation Oncology and be Board certified or Board eligible in Radiation Oncology. In addition, experience in the treatment of pediatric cancers and a record of, or strong potential for success in clinical/translational research, are requisites. Experience treating with proton therapy is desirable though not required. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualification.
