The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology is looking for an Associate Professor of Clinical Geo. Job Description: The Division of Nephrology, Kidney CARE Program of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking physician(s) with training and career interest as a clinical investigator, clinician educator or a clinician to join UC Health, a system including the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, UC Physicians, and its affiliated hospitals. The position involves both inpatient and outpatient clinical duties within UC Health, in addition to resident and fellow teaching. Applicants pursuing research career are encouraged to pursue clinical and translational research, and protected time and resources will appropriately support research efforts. The division provides diverse clinical opportunities in areas of chronic kidney disease, dialysis and transplantation, and acute care nephrology including interventional nephrology. The division also provides robust research opportunities including research in the following areas: clinical outcomes; quality/safety research; basic and translational research; and clinical trials in variety of areas (acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, renal physiology and cell biology, and transplantation). The Nephrology education program is dedicated in the training of renal fellows; transplant fellows; resident and medical student education.
Applicants should be board certified/board eligible in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with the level of experience of the applicant.
