The College of Nursing is seeking to fill a specialized tenure-track or tenured faculty position that will contribute to
the research mission of the University of Cincinnati. The successful candidate is expected to have expertise in genomic
science and make a strong contribution to a new scientific cancer cluster being formed. The cluster supports intraprofessional
collaboration between nursing and other disciplines such as allied health, arts and sciences, medicine and
pharmacy to catalyze innovative cancer research.

As the University of Cincinnati enters its Third Century, a key focus is to realize the promise of cancer-panomics and
targeted therapy to deliver personalized treatments for patients and customized prevention for vulnerable populations
in Cincinnati, the region and around the globe. This cluster hire will enable UC to forge forward in establishing a Center
of Excellence for Precision Cancer Care and Prevention in the near future. The center is part of UC's effort to encompass
multiple transdisciplinary cancer care and prevention fields including medicine, nursing, pharmacology, chemistry,
experimental diagnosis and therapies, Big Data, epidemiology and molecular and cellular disciplines. Special emphasis
will be placed on factors that affect outcomes such as disparities, adherence, and psychosocial factors, social services,
ethnics and counseling.
