Percentage of Time: 100 Shift Start: 8:00 am Shift End: 5:00 pm Qualifications for Position

Working knowledge of Healthy Campus Initiative: core values and goals, key participants, major areas of focus and projects, operations and organization.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in biological sciences with successful completion of academic coursework in global health or other demonstrated combination of education and experience in public health.

Required

Demonstrated experience with data collection, research and data analysis, metrics development

Required

Demonstrated experience in support of health related/well-being research projects.

Required

Familiarity with UCOP operational practices and experience working with UCOP staff on committees and in organizing events and meetings.

Preferred

Strong organizational skills to facilitate project and high level meeting coordination combined with skill in prioritizing multiple competing tasks and projects

Required

Ability to interact professionally, effectively and diplomatically with all levels of staff and management.

Required

Demonstrated interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with members of the campus community.

Required

Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with diplomacy, tact and political acumen with campus constituencies of diverse ethnic, social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills for managing and responding to inquiries by electronic mail, telephone and in person.

Demonstrated ability to write effective, clear, concise and grammatically correct business correspondence, reports and other material.

Broad understanding of University policy and procedures.

Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Word, Excel and R statistical computing and graphic programs.
