Requisition Number: 27266 Job Title: PROGRAMMER/ANALYST III Working Title: Web & API Programmer Salary: $5,234 - $10,358 monthly Job Type: Contract Department Name: 3130F-HOUSING - MIS Department Website URL: http://housingandhospitalityservices.ucla.edu/ Job Summary Statement: Under the direction of the Housing & Hospitality Services (H&HS) Assistant Director of IT (Information Technology), the individual will manage, maintain, and support web based application development and related line-of-business information systems. These systems include consolidated billing, internet/intranet web applications, hospitality/conference, and financial/accounting. He/she will be responsible for leading the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of web based transactional and database systems, in addition to supporting all intra/internet web sites and information systems relevant to H&HS's business operations. These systems include on-line applications and credit card payments, on-line access to databases, web based interfaces, and related middleware integrations. Percentage of Time: 100 Shift Start: 8:00 am Shift End: 5:00 pm Qualifications for Position

9. Demonstrated abilities and knowledge of Windows 2008 Server, Windows 7, Apple OSX/IOS, Linux, and other mainstream operating systems.

10. Demonstrated working knowledge in developing applications compatible for multiple web browsers, both mobile and desktop based, including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Apple Safari, Firefox, and Google Chrome.

11. Expert working knowledge of web programming, languages, and technologies specifically HTML, C++, Visual Basic, Perl, JavaScript, web services, ODBC, and HTML5.

12. Expert working knowledge of, and demonstrated experience with, web programming environments, specifically Adobe Cold Fusion, Microsoft ASP, and PHP.

13. Expert working knowledge of and demonstrated experience with relational databases specifically Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and Oracle 1X, with respect to ODBC, ETL, SQL functions and requirements.

14. Ability to work after normal business hours, weekends, and respond to emergency calls as necessary and when appropriate.

15. Skills and abilities to develop presentations and then provide instructional training on IS/IT systems, programming, and web technologies.
