The Student Information System (SIS) Project is one of the largest and most significant initiatives on campus. This project has strong support from campus executive leadership, faculty, staff and students, and is seen as one of UC Berkeley's highest administrative priorities. To ensure the success of this mission-critical project, UC Berkeley is building a project team whose members will include a blend of campus and external experts to help design, test and implement the new system.

The objective of the SIS Project is to replace the university's constellation of aging, disparate and internally built and maintained student systems with a modern, nimble and effective vendor-supported system.
