Job Description


The Billing Analyst is responsible for the timely and accurate posting of payments and adjustments to all patient accounts from multiple sources which includes the ability to interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and transfer balances to secondary insurances or to patient accounts. The Billing Analyst is also accountable for the daily balancing and tracking of payments, adjustments and undistributed funds.

Salary: Negotiable


* Identifies and researches all payments in order to post reimbursement in an timely and accurate manner.
* Follows up on un-applied funds, discrepancies, balance transfers and credit balances.
* Uses bank statements, SAP and payer websites to identify and claim payments for the regional centers.
* Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

* High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of experience in medical service, billing, coding and/or reimbursement activities.
