Position Information

Title Business Analyst Department Marketing & Brand Management (9933) Location Main Campus Position Summary

The Business Analyst helps the University of Arizona Marketing & Brand Management (MBM) tell its great stories online in support of marketing and business goals. He or she is a leader in efficiency and an integral part of the MBM team who helps develop websites and create tools that enable the University's strategic units to build more websites, better. The Business Analyst is dedicated and uses attention-to-detail, paired with a desire to learn and grow, to advance the Arizona brand and enhance user experience. Incumbent may be required to work evenings and/or weekends as necessary.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Identify key objectives for university websites - perform user testing to ensure objectives are achieved successfully and efficiently.
* Monitor web analytics and report takeaways in concise, easy-to-consume format.
* Collaborate with web developers and designers to build hypothesis-driven solutions.
* Perform quality assurance for web fixes and improvements.
* Ensure all tasks have a clear definition of done to prevent wasted effort.
* Increase transparency between web development team and management, facilitating anticipatable, predictable results.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

* Ability to track deliverables from internal and external teams with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to effectively communicate.

Arizona Board of Regents Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or related field AND one year of experience in procedural, management or business analysis work; OR, five years of experience in procedural, management or business analysis work; OR, any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience performing user testing for websites.
* Experience successfully managing multiple deliverables simultaneously
