Job Description

The Department of Computer Science is seeking an individual to teach undergraduate computer science courses. As of Fall 2017, the Department of Computer Science at the University of Arizona will have 26 faculty members, including four senior lecturers and four junior lecturers. The Department has a long history of research accomplishment, influential software distribution, and excellent undergraduate and graduate instruction. Current research and teaching areas span most core areas of Computer Science. The Department of Computer Science supports the UA's diversity and inclusiveness strategic initiatives designed to create an inclusive environment for all faculty, staff, and students. The candidate is expected to support diversity and inclusiveness efforts in the department and college. This is a non-tenure eligible position. The university is located in Tucson, a valley with desert landscape surrounded by mountain ranges.
