Millwood Hospital is a 134-bed mental health facility that provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency treatment. Millwood's caring, and multidisciplinary staff has successfully provided inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency care to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults since 1971. Millwood Hospital is currently seeking a dynamic Program Therapist - PRN to join our team!

The Program Therapist-PRN performs behavioral health care clinical functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs with ongoing assessment, treatment planning, behavioral management, enhancement of coping skills, family therapy and discharge planning.

Job Requirements

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field

Experience: Program Therapist requires a minimum of one year of experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills.

License: Must possess a state license as an LMSW, LPC Intern, or LPC. Advanced licensure preferred.

Additional Requirements: CPR Certification and CPI training in accordance with New Hire policy must be completed prior to providing direct patient care services.
