Canyon Ridge Hospital a 106-bed behavioral health facility located on the western edge of San Bernardino County. Canyon Ridge Hospital is a full-service psychiatric hospital that operates within a 15-mile radius of Riverside, Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Canyon Ridge Hospital has been a public resource for behavioral health and substance abuse treatment in the greater Inland Empire since 1989. Our acute care facility offers a safe and comfortable environment for both adults and adolescents. By offering a full spectrum of services (such as inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient), Canyon Ridge Hospital is able to provide a full continuum of care for its clients.

The Therapist provides group process and/or didactic psychotherapy, multiple family group psychotherapy, chemical dependency educational groups and, at times, individual interventions while ensuring deliverance of quality treatment to psychiatric patients and their families.

Job Requirements

Therapists for all process/groups shall be a mental health clinician registered with the Board of California who is either licensed/certified/Intern (Master's Degree or higher). If license certified-eligible, conforms to all regulations regarding supervision. Therapists shall meet competency requirements for the group for which they provide facilitation; knowledge of advanced principals of abnormal psychology; skills in conducting group therapy. Skills in maintaining information as highly confidential. Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation in the medical record, as well as verbal communication to managed care companies.
