This is an exciting opportunity to obtain valuable work experience as we continue our Carrier Indianapolis transformation as the Furnace Center of Excellence for the North American market. We are seeking a high energy, results-focused Human Resources Intern to assist with HR transactional activities and the development of business processes in our Indianapolis Carrier plant. The position will report directly to the Senior Labor Relations Manager.


The Human Resources intern will be involved in the following deliverables and key projects:

* Interacts with the HR team members and plant leadership to support business needs
* Facilitate hourly and salaried engagement and recognition activities
* Develop standardized processes for key employment and labor relations programs
* Benchmark and deploy creative and sustainable ways on skill-based training
* Other special projects as needed

Desired Characteristics

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* Strong organizational, analytical, project management, and problem solving skills
* Self-driven and proactive
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
* Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Team player and ability to collaborate with others


* Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, majoring in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, Industrial Relations or related field of study
* GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.2 GPA
* Completion of sophomore year of college/university
