Aerostructures in Chula Vista CA, designs, manufactures, and integrates nacelles, thrust reversers, pylons and flight control surfaces for commercial and military aircraft. Aerostructures includes the Engineered Polymer Products business, which designs, tests and manufactures composite components for ships, submarines and commercial airplanes.
As a Repair Engineering intern, you will be responsible for:
* Support of the on-off repairs group for new nacelle programs by developing repair instructions and allowable damage limits supporting entry into service deliverables.
* Writing repair instructions, outlining allowable damage limits and creating illustrations depicting repair and allowable damage areas.
* Utilizing solid modeling and graphics software to create representations of repairable and permitted damage areas provided by stress engineering.
Draw zones, fully dimension areas and migrate graphics into illustration software where the final product will be released for incorporation into the Structural Repair Manual publication.
Qualifications Minimum 3.0 GPA
Citizen or resident of the United States

Must be working towards a 4-year degree.
